ABOUT
Dr Charles Worrall is a twenty-seven-year-old British writer, poet, academic and wannabe Desperate Housewife, currently preparing his first novel and debut poetry collection for publication.
After giving up his dream of being a childhood Disney star, Charles began studying English at the University of Liverpool, graduating in 2017, which was a miracle considering he spent the entirety of exam season drinking gin and tonics in the garden. Following his undergraduate degree, Charles studied for his MA in Creative Writing at the University of Birmingham, where he began writing for young adults.

From 2018 to 2023, Charles completed his PhD at the University of Chester, researching the development of queer adolescent identities and communities online and the role of social media within young adult literature.

Since 2015, Charles has worked for Nuffield Health, the UK's largest healthcare charity. As of 2023, Charles works as the Hospital Change Manager, a role dedicated to implementing change management strategies that maximise employee adoption and usage of new processes and systems to help build a healthier nation.

Charles has several upcoming projects impending. His debut young-adult novel, #IsaacAndAidenAreOverParty, is currently in the works.
